Delete from the app (recommended)
- Open ReciPeel and sign in to your account
- Go to the Me tab (bottom right)
- Tap Settings
- Scroll to Danger Zone
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion
This action is permanent. All your recipes, cookbooks, meal plans, cook logs, grocery lists, pantry items, and account data will be permanently deleted. This cannot be undone.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your account and profile information
- All recipes, ingredients, and steps
- Cookbooks and tags
- Meal plans and grocery lists
- Cook logs and history
- Pantry items
- Flavor profile and skill tree progress
- Household memberships
- Shared recipe links
- Import history
- Device tokens and push notification settings
- Any uploaded images (recipe photos, avatars)

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us:

Include the email address associated with your account.
We will process your request within 30 days.
Data retention after deletion
Once deletion is confirmed, your data is removed from our active databases immediately. Backups containing your data are automatically purged within 30 days. After this period, no recoverable copy of your data exists.
Third-party data
Deleting your ReciPeel account does not affect any accounts you may have with third-party services (Apple, Google, Stripe). To manage those, visit the respective service's settings.
